Ultra Sierra Nevada

The Ultra Sierra Nevada is a mountain race of 103 kms of continuous ascent by paths and trails from Granada to ski resort of Pradollano, crowning before the Veleta´s Peak (3100m). The Ultra Sierra Nevada has its start line at 00:00 a.m (midnight Friday 15 July to Saturday 16 July) in a spectacular surrounding: the Monumental Complex of the Alhambra and the Generalife. The Ultra Sierra Nevada has an accumulated altitude of 6.060 m+ and 4.590 m-. With semi-autonomy character, the participants have a maximum time of 25 hours to complete the race. Throughout the race, the participants must cross several aid stations and checkpoint where they can replenish their water and food supplies. The Ultra Sierra Nevada is qualifying race for the Spain Ultra Cup. The Ultra Sierra Nevada is qualifying race for the UTMB and gives 3 points (old) / 5 points (new).
